News 12 to host first debate between Rep. Mike Lawler and Cait Conley, voters invited to shape questions

One million N-95 masks were made available in giveaways Thursday across New York state.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the protective gear would be handed out at state facilities - including MTA stations and state parks.

People who spoke to News 12 at the Dobbs Ferry Metro-North Station said they were already taking precautions.

Some other tips to stay safe are to keep the air conditioning on in the car, to use eye drops for itchy eyes and to stay inside if you can.
