The Town of Rye held its annual Progress Pride flag-raising in honor of Pride Month.

It kicked off the town’s third annual Pride Month celebration, a day of events held by Rye and the pRYEde Community Group.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman was in attendance along with many colorfully clothed celebrators.

The event also featured a Pride parade, fair with performances and the unveiling of a youth-led mural painted by LGBTQ+ students and allies from across New York and Connecticut.
