Police seek suspect who assaulted 16-year-old girl in Rye Town Park
Authorities say the girl was assaulted after talking to the suspect who threatened to have a knife but did not show the weapon.

Police are looking for a suspect who they say assaulted a 16-year-old girl at midnight in Rye Town Park.
Police say the teen was talking to the suspect before the individual tackled and assaulted her at the park on Forest Avenue.
The suspect threatened her with a knife before a park security officer intervened.
The suspect is described as a 180-pound male around six feet tall wearing grey sweatpants and tan or brown canvas boat shoes.
Police say he was also wearing and a black hooded sweatshirt with the words "Blackbird Company" in white.
