State police: 12-year-old boy airlifted from rollover crash in Town of Wallkill

The driver of a Honda Pilot was traveling with five passengers in the vehicle when it left the roadway and flipped several times.

A rollover crash on State Route 17 in the Town of Wallkill seriously injured a 12-year-old boy Friday morning.

State police say it happened around 8 a.m. in the westbound lanes.

The driver of a Honda Pilot was traveling with five passengers in the vehicle when it left the roadway and flipped several times.

Two passengers were thrown from the vehicle. One of them, the 12-year-old boy, was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.

State troopers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them at 845-344-5300.
