A 27-year-old Spring Valley driver was arrested for DWI Sunday morning.

Police say a speeding vehicle was stopped on Route 45 in the Hillcrest area.

Law enforcement officials noted that the driver exhibited signs of intoxication and was given a field sobriety test.

The man was subsequently released on an appearance ticket for a future court date.
