Administrators at Middletown schools announced Friday night that Monhagen Middle School will open Monday and Tuesday on a three-hour delay.
It will be the third and fourth three-hour delay in as many days after a 13-year-old was stabbed this week in a hallway brawl.
This time, however, the students will be allowed to bring district-provided devices and backpacks because they will shift back to academics. The last couple days have been more about therapy and feeling comfortable in the building again.
Students will use two entrances and once again go through metal detectors.
