An assistant superintendent for the Nyack School District will be leaving this upcoming summer.
Effective July 1, Dr. Grace Chan, the assistant superintendent for finance and operations, will become the assistant superintendent of business administration in the Putnam Valley School District.
Chan's departure comes as unions and parents have expressed opposition to Superintendent Susan Yom.
The district's five unions issued a statement of no confidence in Yom.
Calls to the district about Chan's resignation had not been returned as of Friday night.
