Authorities in Poughkeepsie have apprehended a man after responding to a menacing complaint at 37 Hooker Ave. on Saturday morning.

According to police reports, 23-year-old Angelo Lavin-Balmori was discovered in possession of a loaded semiautomatic handgun during the investigation.
