Police: Dutchess County man arrested for DWI with child in car

The county sheriff’s office says deputies stopped the car for traffic violations on North Elm Road in the Village of Millerton.

A Dutchess County man is facing charges for driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle on Wednesday night, according to police.

The county sheriff’s office says deputies stopped the car for traffic violations on North Elm Road in the Village of Millerton.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Roman Xoical after speaking to him and seeing the child passenger.

Xoical was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony driving while intoxicated with a conviction in the last 10 years.

He has since been released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Northeast Court next month.
