Harwinton Animal Control rescues senior dog from swamp, reunites her with 90-year-old owner

A senior dog named Peaches was rescued from a swamp and reunited with her 90-year-old owner, thanks to Harwinton Regional Animal Control.
Peaches, a deaf elderly dog, went missing overnight. Her owner was unable to locate her, despite his efforts in calling for her repeatedly.
Peaches wandered into a heavily wooded area frequented by wildlife, animal control officials said.
Animal Control officers Kyle Snow and Kim Toothill responded to the call and located Peaches down a steep embankment, trapped in a swamp.
She was safely recovered and reunited with her owner.
