An Elmsford woman has been charged with Leandra’s Law after state police say they stopped her early Sunday morning.

Troopers say they pulled over 45-year-old Josefina Parades-Locadio just after 2:30 a.m. on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh for vehicle and traffic violations.

Police say she was driving while intoxicated with two children in the car — meeting the criteria for the Class E felony. Parades-Locadio was also charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.

She was issued traffic tickets and is due in court next month.
