A North Haven man on parole has been charged with robbing a Berlin bank, according to federal authorities.

A grand jury in New Haven indicted 55‑year‑old Thomas Marra of North Haven on a charge tied to the robbery at the Webster Bank on Webster Square Road.

Marra was arrested on Jan. 7, and has remained in custody since then.

Federal authorities said Marra faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted, along with possible additional penalties for violating the terms of his supervised release.

Court records show Marra was previously sentenced in 2023 to five years in prison for a federal narcotics trafficking offense.

He was released from custody in June 2025.
