Early‑morning fire completely destroys New City home after fast‑moving blaze

A car erupted in flames in Riverdale Monday evening, sending smoke billowing onto Henry Hudson Parkway.

Citizen app footage taken around 7:30 p.m. from the opposite side of the busy parkway shows the inferno bursting from a vehicle in front of Atria Riverdale, an assisted living facility located at 3718 Henry Hudson Parkway East.

The video shows firefighters battling the blaze.

The FDNY says no one was injured.
