Man stabbed, woman assaulted during altercation at Atlantic City’s Showboat Resort
Police said officers also determined a 38-year-old Newark man had been stabbed but left the scene before police arrived.

A man was stabbed and a woman was assaulted during an altercation Sunday night at the Showboat Resort in Atlantic City, police said.
Atlantic City police said officers responded to the resort at 10:37 p.m. April 5 on a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old woman from Severn, Maryland, who had been assaulted. She was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with nonfatal injuries.
Police said officers also determined a 38-year-old Newark man had been stabbed but left the scene before police arrived.
He was later found at the same hospital after friends drove him there. His injury also was not considered life-threatening.
