More than 120 people have signed an online petition just days after a ban on e-bikes was announced for e-bikes for the campus.

The petition states that proper regulations, like designed e-bike lanes, helmet requirements and speed limits, would mitigate safety risks.

News 12 reached out to the university for comment and is waiting to hear back.

The ban goes into effect on June 1.
