A late-night fire involving multiple cars sparked concern in a Gravesend neighborhood early Friday.
FDNY says crews were called just after midnight to a lot along the Belt Parkway near Bay 43rd Street after reports of cars on fire.
Fire officials say as many as 25 vehicles were burning when firefighters arrived. Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly.
Video from the scene shows large flames shooting into the air and heavy smoke rising from the lot.
No injuries were reported.
The incident was brought under control and closed around 4:36 a.m., according to FDNY.
It’s not yet clear what caused the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
