Several communities across Connecticut have canceled their Memorial Day parades because of the weather.
Fairfield County
Weston: Canceled. A memorial ceremony will be hosted indoors by the Weston Volunteer Fire Department.
Norwalk: Canceled.
Greenwich: Canceled.
Westport: Canceled. The ceremony is now happening in the Town Hall auditorium.
Danbury: Canceled.
Fairfield: Rain or shine. Starts at 9 a.m. at the corner of Post Road and South Pine Creek Road.
New Canaan: Canceled. A memorial ceremony will take place in Town Hall at 10 a.m. with limited seating.
Easton: Delayed start at 1 p.m.
Ridgefield: Delayed start at 12:30 p.m.
Trumbull: Canceled. A formal ceremony will be held in the Library Community Room at 9 a.m.
Darien: Rain or shine. Starts at 10 a.m.
Stratford: Canceled. A ceremony will be held at 100 Veterans Blvd at 11 a.m., and all are welcome.
New Haven County
Milford: Canceled. The annual Veterans Wreath Laying ceremony will be held at 9:45 a.m. in front of City Hall.
Orange: Canceled. The ceremony honoring veterans will be held in the gym at High Plains Community Center at 10:30 a.m.
Litchfield County
Litchfield: Canceled. An observance ceremony will be held at the post home on Bantam Road at 10 a.m., followed by lunch.
Torrington: Rain or shine. Starts at 9:30 a.m. at Torrington Plaza, with a moving ceremony to follow at 11 a.m. at Coe Memorial Park.
