Heavy police presence at Bridgeport apartment building cleared following domestic violence incident
A News 12 crew on scene observed officers with tactical gear coming in and out of the building around 1:15 p.m. Police cleared the scene around 2:30 p.m., but say they are investigating the incident.

A heavy police presence that was at an apartment building in Bridgeport Tuesday has been cleared.
The building is located at Washington Avenue and Sanford Place.
Police say a domestic violence incident led to the increase in officers.
A News 12 crew on scene observed officers with tactical gear coming in and out of the building around 1:15 p.m. Police cleared the scene around 2:30 p.m., but say they are investigating the incident.
They say there is no danger to the public.
