Trio steal over $71K worth of property from two men at gunpoint in Pelham Bay

The two men removed both victim’s phones, jewelry and wallets approximately valued at $71,000 before returning to the black sedan.

Police are looking for three men who robbed two men at gun point stealing $71,000 worth of property in Pelham Bay.

The robbery happened near Roberts Avenue and Jarvis Avenue at around 1;20 a.m. on May 30th.

Police say a 40-year-old man and a 46-year-old man were entering a building when the trio approached them in a black sedan. Two of the men exited the car and one displayed a firearm demanding property from the 40-year-old and 46-year-old men.

The two men removed both victim’s phones, jewelry and wallets approximately valued at $71,000 before returning to the black sedan.

The 40-year-old and 46-year-old man pursued after the black sedan but were shot at multiple times by one of the thieves in the car.

No injuries were reported.
