Two men admitted to their roles in a deadly assault in Spring Valley.
Rockland prosecutors said Christian Guzman-Loera pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Investigators said the victim was beaten multiple times with a piece of lumber last year.
Santos Benedicto Ramirez-Gomez’s body was found inside an abandoned building on Centre Street.
Guzman-Loera is expected to be sentenced to 14 years in prison after admitting to hitting the victim.
The other man involved, Ector Ramirez, admitted to having a blunt object and intending to use it against the victim.
He was already sentenced to almost a year in county jail.
