Gunman wanted in Concourse Village shooting

Police say a 32-year-old man was shot in the abdomen just before 11:30 p.m. on June 7 in front of 453 East 162nd St.

Police are searching for the man who they say is responsible for a shooting in Concourse Village.

They say a 32-year-old man was shot in the abdomen just before 11:30 p.m. on June 7 in front of 453 East 162nd St.

EMS took the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.

Police released a video of the suspected gunman, who is seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark-colored shorts and carrying a black bookbag.

The suspect is described as around 5 feet 5 inches tall, approximately 18 to 25 years old.

The NYPD says he ran southbound on Melrose Avenue after the attack.
