Crowds are gathering at the Yonkers waterfront in anticipation of tonight's fireworks show to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.

The celebration dubbed "Revolutionary Yonkers 250" is part of a series of weeklong events that also honor the city's historic role in the United States' fight for freedom.
