Man wanted for sexually assaulting, robbing a woman in North Riverdale

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted and robbed a 56-year-old woman in North Riverdale.
The attack happened across from 6661 Broadway at 10 p.m. back on July 12.
Police say the man approached the 56-year-old woman from behind and placed her in a chokehold.
The man then groped the woman’s chest and attempted to remove her clothing.
The assailant also struck the 56-year-old woman in the face before stealing her purse and fleeing on foot.
The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention.
