DA: Undercover drug investigation leads to arrest of alleged Poughkeepsie cocaine dealer

A Poughkeepsie man is facing felony drug charges after authorities say he sold cocaine from an apartment in the city.

The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office said Phillip Farrar operated a drug-dealing operation out of an apartment on North Perry Street in Poughkeepsie.

Investigators said agents made multiple undercover drug purchases during the investigation.

Authorities later executed a search warrant at the apartment Tuesday.

Officials said they recovered cocaine packaged for sale, cash and other evidence.

Farrar was arrested and charged with felony drug offenses.

He is being held without bail.

Officials said additional charges are pending.
