A new Lidl store opened in Rockland County on Wednesday, drawing large crowds to its location in Tappan along Route 303.
Shoppers formed a line that wrapped around the building as they waited to enter ahead of the store's opening.
The German international discount supermarket says it offers produce, meats, seafood and other imported goods at low prices.
Other Lidl locations in the area include Yonkers, Pelham and Park Ridge, New Jersey.
