More than 1,000 unionized residential workers in Westchester and the Mid-Hudson region have voted to authorize a strike.
About 1,300 doorpeople, porters and supers in hundreds of buildings could go on strike when their current contract expires at the end of the month.
Union members are seeking fair wages, stronger pensions, full family health insurance and other benefits.
