Voters have been turning out in large numbers in Westchester County, according to early voting data.

"Early voting turnout has surpassed 2022. The current number is 120,809 for all nine days of voting. In 2022, we had only 70,243. So far, our turnout between early voting and the vote by mail ballots is 20% and that's not even including election day," said Westchester County Democratic Elections Commissioner Tajian Nelson.

Nelson says they're ready for Tuesday.

She encourages voters to check their polling place ahead of time and get there early, if possible.

"It's important to vote. We have to actually be involved in order to make a change," said Cynthia Berry, who says she plans to vote Tuesday.

Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
