Three men were sentenced to state prison for a home invasion in Ulster County last year.

Prosecutors say Luis Gonzalez Lopez, 31, Shaquon McGinnis, 27, and Nathaniel Negron, 29, all from Ellenville, entered the Canal Locks Apartment Complex in March of 2024 armed with a loaded firearm and a knife. The masked men knocked, then forced their way in, shooting an adult male in the arm before fleeing.

The victim was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, treated, and released on March 9. Four others, including young children, were inside but unharmed.

All three pleaded guilty to burglary, with Negron receiving 10 years, McGinnis 8 years, and Lopez 6 years, each with 5 years of post-release supervision.
