Six employees of the Rockland County Division of Environmental Resources face charges following their arrests by the county sheriff's office.

They're accused of falsifying business records, official misconduct and petit larceny, which are all misdemeanors.

The arrests stem from a six-week investigation after county executive's office developed information and asked the sheriff's office to look into it.
The sheriff's office hasn't said what the improprieties are, but News 12 does know that they happened in the division's Park section.
The Rockland District Attorney's Office is also involved in the investigation.
The employees were issued appearance tickets and are expected to return to Haverstraw Justice Court later this month.
The county hasn't said if they still have jobs.
