7-year-old Orange County girl wins New York state gymnastic championship

Emerson Lux Parrington, a 7-year-old from Montgomery, ranked first-place last weekend for her level at the state Gymnastics Championships in Syracuse!

Parrington goes to Kennetts Gymnastics in Goshen.

She had the highest all-around score out of 380 competitors and won gold on bars and beam with a 9.950 score for each event!

She will next represent New York state at regionals on May 20.
