New York Attorney General Letitia James released a statement in response to new rules proposed by President Joe Biden requiring airlines to compensate passengers for cancellations and delays.

James says millions of Americans have been inconvenienced because of overbooked flights and staffing issues.

She adds that she is thrilled the president is addressing this problem.

James has been a leader on standing up for consumers and has been very outspoken on the need to ensure airlines provide quality service for New Yorkers and all Americans.
