The Loft LGBTQ+ center announced a second monkeypox vaccine clinic.
The first clinic set for Thursday filled.
The center says it will be one of the first LGBTQ+community centers in the country to hold an on-campus monkeypox vaccination clinic.
That first clinic is scheduled for Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Since it's already full, The Loft and the Department of Health have partnered for a second clinic on Aug. 4.
Both of these clinics are just for the first dose. Information on the second dose will be given at the clinic.
Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla just started a drive-thru vaccine clinic Wednesday.
The county Health Department says there are now over 1,000 confirmed cases statewide, including 34 across the lower Hudson Valley.
