The Holiday Wish Express at Stamford Town Center transforms a shopping trip into a winter wonderland this season.

It offers families a festive, photo-ready experience complete with twinkling lights, larger-than-life decorations and a train ride billed as an "express to the North Pole."

Visitors board a decorated train that winds through scenes showcasing iconic landscapes throughout the world. Arrive to the "North Pole" and get a peek inside Mrs. Claus's cozy "she cave."

"It's something that's really spectacular. It was done with a lot of love," said Ilario Altamura, owner of the Holiday Wish Express. "We do it for the children. I have two young kids and we're always looking for experiences for them during the holiday season, that's why I wanted to create something local so all the families here in Connecticut could experience something great."

The Holiday Wish Express will run every weekend, starting Nov 22. through Dec. 28.
