Another brawl involving a large group of teenagers broke out in Newburgh Tuesday, resulting in one arrest, police say.
Some say Tuesday's altercation outside North Junior High School was gang-related and stemmed from tensions over the death of 17-year-old Levi King Flores, who was stabbed in January.
This latest fight comes at a time when the city is working with the FBI to gather intelligence that could help combat the gang problem. The federal agency has reportedly shared information about the violence in Newburgh with the Obama administration.
Newburgh Mayor Nicholas Valentine says he's also pushing to put police officers back in schools by fall.
