ALERTS: Air quality alert through midnight.
OVERVIEW: Poor air quality for the Hudson Valley again today as Canadian wildfire smoke continues to impact the region. Sensitive groups, especially those with respiratory issues should be mindful of the length of time spent outdoors today.
More clouds in the sky today! But, with high pressure controlling the forecast for most of this week, the radar should stay quiet.
Temperatures by this afternoon will warm up to the upper 80s. Humidity will be more noticeable today as compared to yesterday, but it won't feel like a sauna! It will feel more like a dry heat by the afternoon as compared to a sweltering sauna like we felt during the heat wave of early last week.
Temperatures are likely to drop around seasonable in the low 80s by Tuesday and stick around that for the rest of the week.
Rain chances stay out of the forecast through Friday! Enjoy all the outdoor things — bike rides, park playtime and outdoor runs.
