School officials in New Rochelle are investigating an incident of antisemitic and racially offensive vandalism discovered at Albert Leonard Middle School.
According to reports, images and words were scratched into the playground surface.
The school administration has taken swift action to remove the offensive markings, and the students responsible have been identified. The district has emphasized its zero-tolerance policy toward such behavior, stating unequivocally that it rejects all forms of discrimination and hate.
This incident comes just a month after similar graffiti was found at Huguenot Academy of New Rochelle High School. However, it is unclear at this time if these two incidents are connected.
