An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) ride turned tragic for two brothers from Bloomingburg Sunday night. The fatal accident happened on Ferguson Road in the Town of Mamakating. Police say 16-year-old Timothy Russell was at the wheel with his 24-year-old brother William on the back of the vehicle when they crashed. Police say the brothers ended up overturning in a ditch. William Russell died from his injuries at Ellenville Community Hospital. His brother Timothy was flown to Westchester Medical Center for treatment. Police are conducting toxicology tests to determine if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash and say charges may be issued against Timothy Russell.
