Authorities responded to a house fire Monday in Cortlandt Manor.
Fire officials say the fire at the home on Maple Avenue lasted 2 hours and no injuries were reported.
Neighbors tell News 12 that they thought the fire was coming from someone's grill.
"We saw there was fire on the deck, it looked like it was coming out of the grill, the barbeque grill, but apparently it was a candle,” says neighbor Jeff Borkan. “My wife woke me up, she said, 'You better come downstairs, there's something going on next door.' Then I called 911."
Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
