1h agoAuthorities say a Newark man has been convicted of first-degree murder for a fatal shooting.
In August 2022, Juan Leandry fired 42 shots at a man on South Orange Avenue while driving in a stolen Jeep.
Authorities say a witness reported that Leandry then set the Jeep on fire in an empty parking lot in Irvington and posted images of the burning vehicle on his Instagram account.
Leandry will be sentenced at the end of January.
