A Nanuet couple was indicted on multiple charges in connection to a nationwide steroid probe.

Steven and Karen Lampert of the Anti-Aging Centers in Nanuet pleaded not guilty in an Albany County courtroom Tuesday. The couple is accused of submitting drug prescriptions to a Florida pharmacy totaling more than $50,000 for people without medical needs.

Steven Lampert?s attorney claims he never forged any signatures. He says Lampert?s job was solely to fax prescriptions and orders for a doctor. That doctor was not part of the indictment, but authorities say was linked to a company under investigation for steroids. The two were released without bail.
