Bear Mountain State Park remains closed due to damage from last week’s storms
One major problem is that a water plant serving the entire park has been offline since the torrential rains.
There's no running water currently at the park, and that’s left the swimming pool empty and bathrooms out of service.
Officials say that five miles of park-owned roads were also washed away, and two parking lots were covered in debris.
Hikers can still access some trails. All attractions, including the zoo, are shut down.
They hope to open the park by the end of the month.
