Blind Brook school district voters approved a $6 million bond referendum to finish a construction project at the Ridge Street School.
The vote was 616-189.
The school was the scene of controversy back in September when the state Education Department shut it down due to permit and safety issues from a construction project.
Those issues were resolved, and students were allowed to return three weeks later to a part of the building where construction is not taking place.
The measure approved Tuesday will allow the district to complete ongoing improvements to the school and will cover the cost of unanticipated increases beyond what was approved by voters in 2017.
