Multiple law enforcement agencies were seen near the entrance of the New York Athletic Club in Pelham Manor on Wednesday evening, responding to an incident involving a white BMW that crashed into a fence.

The nature of the investigation is unclear, but officials confirm it is ongoing.

A resident, Angus Deeney, expressed surprise at the police activity, stating, "It's very surprising to me... it feels like we live in a little bubble, kind of, where nothing really happens, so hearing something like that is pretty surprising to me."

Before the car was towed away, a police dog was brought to the scene, suggesting a possible search for evidence or suspects.
