Authorities say three students were hospitalized and one was arrested today after multiple fights involving as many as six female students broke out at Spring Valley High School.
Police say they were notified of a fight by parents, however when they arrived, school officials said they had things under control and were uncooperative.
Shortly after leaving police say they received reports of students with injuries and when they returned, another fight broke out and one student, Shenelle Bartley, 18, attacked an officer.
Police say three freshmen girls were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries and released.
Bartley faces several charges, including attempting to assault a police officer.
A parent says the other students involved have been suspended for five days.
