A Brooklyn man is suing the city and the NYPD for $100 million after a video showing his wrongful arrest went viral.

Cellphone video shows two officers apparently punching and kicking Timothy Brown repeatedly inside a liquor store in Boerum Hill.

After the video emerged, police confirmed they had detained the wrong person.

Both officers and sergeant were put on modified duty, and other members of the narcotics unit involved were transferred.

The NYPD has declined to comment on the pending litigation.

The NYPD says that the chief of department will lead a 90-day review of its narcotics section - on everything from equipment and compliance to policy and training.
