Demolition crews in New City tore down Jawonio's first school for children with disabilities.
The school had been standing there since 1958.
Over the years, it grew to serve thousands of people for various therapies, skills training and more.
Last October, the agency moved into a new 70,000-square-foot building on the same site.
It says it still needs $3 million more to complete it.
