Burglars stole cash and jewels from a Spring Valley home Monday.Police say the burglary happened on North Cole Avenue in broad daylight. Marie Gabrel said she returned home from work to find her house in disarray. A few hundred dollars and almost all of her jewelry was gone. Gabrel said she has lived in the home for 12 years and says nothing like this has ever happened before. Spring Valley police are investigating.
