70ds agoBurke Rehabilitation hosted its 2023 Heels and Wheels fun run Sunday in Westchester County.
Participants did not let the rain ruin their fun at the event at Burke's 61-acre campus.
Event organizers said the event is meant to get all types of athletes involved, whether they are a beginner runner, seasoned runner, hand cyclist, or an athlete like John Wilson, who is recovering from a stroke.
"Success comes in 'cans,' not in 'cant's'. So what I can do, I can use this arm and I can use this leg. This reminds me of that. Stay focused on that and go forward," Wilson said.
