Pakistanis in the Bronx are mourning the death of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and wondering about their homeland?s future.
Worshippers at two mosques in the Bronx prayed for Bhutto during services Friday.
?We feel really sorry,? said Muhammed Jan, President of Madni Masjid Mosque. ?We lost a great leader. She was so nice to everybody. Everybody liked her. They loved her.?
In the wake of increased violence following Bhutto?s assassination, residents say they have been calling loved ones in Pakistan to inquire about their safety.
Recent reports out of Pakistan claim Bhutto died of a skull fracture when she hit her head after the suicide bomb blast.
