A candlelight vigil will be held Saturday night for the 16-month-old girl who was found dead this week in a Liberty motel room.
The toddler, Akassha Luvert, died after she was allegedly exposed to fentanyl by her parents. The death occurred just weeks after her babysitter said she tried to get the family help.
Akassha's parents are charged with criminally negligent homicide.
The vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Lapolt Park in Liberty.
